More 2010 SS Air Intake Dyno Results From Texas Speed!!

Guys here's another car that just had the final version of the Texas Speed cold air intake installed. For this test we did a baseline pull, installed intake & made 2 pulls, then went back to the stock intake.

This test should show really well the power potential of the Texas Speed air intake system. Look for more results soon, we have two other cars here for the intake install!!

Enjoy the results!!

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

The intake really changed the A/f's a good amount , looks almost like a full point leaner ?

How about the raw numbers before and after? Some of us aren't used to reading dyno graphs! Looks like a great mod!

Looks like that is with a tune. Both runs with the CAI has the AFR leaned out quite a bit (around 12) and that gives you more power. Unless the CAI is causing it to lean out on its own.

Changing to a CAI with more flow will add more air to the combustion chamber while maintaining the same fuel tables "should" result in a more lean dyno run, which is why there's a 19hp jump, not neccesarily a tune, but the result is the same.. More HP

Yes this is completely stock tuning. The leaner a/f is why intakes are working so well. It's also the reason I have atleast 10 bad intake designs sitting here working to get the air fuel that's correct & that doesn't do weird stuff at other rpm's. We dont just build a intake & hope she works. We've tested it now on probably 5 different cars as well as on the engine and chassis dyno at different loads & throttle points in a effort to confirm the intake is doing exactly what we want it to do! The best part will be the pricing guys, you dont have to pay tons for a intake that adds the 20hp you expect!!

Pretty cool! It sounds like this is just not some backyard-designed intake that you guys stuck a filter on and called it a day. It sounds tuned and that's why it's working so wel.

Good job, IMVHO.
