If it is only the clip that you need, don't order one, be glad to mail you one. Sent you a PM.

Ok, took me a while to get around to fixing it… I ordered a pair of the dive planes, but FedEx delivered it to the wrong house 12 houses down, and that person didn’t let me know until today Would have saved me from filing a claim with FedEx. Oh well…
ANYWAY, I was able to install it, but removing the innermost 2 clips from the original part turned out to be harder than I thought. I could see them by opening up the wheel well lining in front of the LF tire, but removing them through that opening was difficult, even with my small hands. At some point I removed the big plastic plate under the front of the car, thinking it would allow me to reach out more directly to the necessary location, but it didn’t help and I was forced to try again via the lining. After a bit of cursing, I was able to remove the clips without breaking anything by using a small screwdriver, and putting the new piece in was pretty straightforward. Thanks again Prometheus for offering to send me clips! Hope I don’t break any other part Geoff |

Maybe it would have been worth a shot to ask for a warranty repair.
Hitting it with your knee seems pretty innocuous. They can visually inspect and clearly see that you did not hit something with the car. The part may have been flawed..
