These are what I am ordering unless Continental comes out with the right sizes in their Extreme Contact DWS by the time I get my car. I'm not messing with the on and off changing of the winter tires and I really do not want to have to buy all new tires/rims just for winter and then worry about my Perilli's only getting 20000 miles on them and then replacing them in a year. I'll go with a good tread wear rated all season. Never once had a problem driving on all seasons in the snow/ice. Just have to be careful.

I have 18" studded 235's on mine. Drove it today after waking up to snow. I start out in 2nd and don't drive like an a** and made it fine to work. 3rd time this season I've had to change out the tires. I also added 150 lbs in back, except for today. 5" of snow so far was what I've driven through so far

I did today because I had to drive it home from work and it sucked. Good thing I only live a couple of miles away because I was all over the road. There was no chance of snow and low and behold a couple inches fell. If I knew it was going to snow I would at least switched to some snow tires.

I went to vistit my family for Thanskgining. They usually do not have snow that early. Well guess what!!!! Had 4 inches. The road department but cinders on the road. Did some major ping damage to my car. Some down to the primer. I did not know weather to scream or cry. Only had my 2LT infern orange for 3 weeks. Now I have to get it repaired and painted.

Had my Fire & Ice (I don't know why I call them that, just sounds better...)
for about two weeks now, the first day it snowed here the car was getting new shoes that afternoon. Since then it's been dry as a bone around here (snow & ice-wise that is).

Drove the car about 2 miles in melting slush (snow melting as it hits) that day.
Was nervous as all get out too. Feel much more confident with the snow ties on it.

I have my SS parked and covered in the garage for winter. I'll bring it back out in April.

I drove in 1/4" of snow today with my pirelli summer tires, didnt seem bad at all. Glad I didnt drop $1300 on snow tires! I will drive the escalade if it gets too bad! Even when we get 10" of snow here in Minneapolis it is plowed within hours!
