It really is as simple as this. If the officer gets any inclining that your
being an ass, you are toast. You certainly cannot expect to get out of a ticket, but you have NO chance if you have attitude.

One of the reasons I chose the "stealthy" SIM - it doesn't scream "pull me over"...

I've been pulled over 4 times in 40 years and never was it in a car that had a overly flashy color..

I have owned Yellow, Silver, Green, Blue, Bright Orange and Bright Red cars. Camaro's Corvette, Malibus, Saturn Skys, Vegas (more than one Vega), and Chevettes.. the only cars I have been pulled over in are A dark blue Malibu, A dark Green Vega Wagon (2 times), And a dark green Camaro Convertible that I was test driving. I think that theory about bright colors attracting cops more is hogwash..
you drive like you should and you have no more chance of geting pulled over than anyone else.

Here you have to turn the ticket in, then it gets sent to the courthouse. Until it gets to the courthouse you can make it disappear. We are switching to electronic tickets in a few weeks though.....No more of that.

One trick to stay away from speeding tickets on the Interstates regardless of your speed is to stay out of the left lane. Believe me, it works.

I was once on the my Corvette(the one in the picture) and for some idiotic reason, I was going faster than I should have....(with 540HP is kind of easy...)

When I saw the police car, it was too late to brake, (he was hiding after an overpass on the highway, like a cat waiting for the mouse)

Anyway he comes and says:

-So you know why I pulled you over....
-...cause I was going a bit fast?...

and he goes,

Well I just wanted to take a closer look at your car... Then he asked questions about the car and he said that it was a hot car.

He still gave me a ticket, but it was a lot lower than what it should have been.

I remember passing a speed trap going the speed limit but without my front plate so i had mini heart attack, the 2 police officers radaring didnt pull me over but smiled but one officer who was writing a ticket or checking paper work laughed and pointed his finger at my car (i was looking in the rear view mirror at stop light) and you could tell that he wanted to pull me ovr just to see the car. You could see him laughing with his other officers like " You shouldve pulled the Camaro over so i can see it" He seemed like he missed the oppurtunity of a life time lol (facial expression tells it all)
I have had all good experience with police officers in my camaro, when i drive the mustang, its the complete opposite. got pulled over going the speed limit to see if it was a stolen car just because im young.
