Bump. I ended up seeing Super 8 at Southlake rather than Starplex in Lake Worth (I don't like that town anymore since they gave me a ticket!). I did realize that if we should decide that the top floor of the garage is the place to park we can totally drive around the theater a couple of times to show the cars off. Which is always fun. Also I might give them a call and ask if they're doing anything special for that release because the night Thor released there were Acura's everywhere because they were featured in the movie. Might see if they'll do something like that for Camaros.

i go to college in corpus christi and im currently down there, but my home is in southlake. i will be back up there july 1st. i was really hoping to get together with yall.

Bump. Yay! Lets get more interest! Still haven't received my schedule from work so here's hoping they stay consistent and give me and 8-5 shift that Saturday!

Luckily, with the release of the movie being on Wednesday night, we can be pretty flexible with the scheduling. If we have the meet on Friday evening I think we can catch some more people before they travel away for the holiday weekend. Anyone opposed to that idea?

That's no good for me unfortunately. I work 5-9 that night. I just got the schedule though and I do have Saturday evening open.

Supaman, Homestar1217, I think we have two threads on this subject, although I think this was first. I'm flexible, but interested in going. If Grapevine may be bad, what do you think about Colleyville IMAX? This is actually a little bit farther away for me but still centrally located and I think a good spot but I'm open for alternatives.

Hehe I would have totally Charger-crashed this Camaro party
but we're moving into our new house that weekend and will be doing all kinds of packing. Looking forward to pictures though. I'm seeing more and more verts on Dallas roads, makes me miss Roxy!

I'm not really partial to one theater, but I would be very grateful if the meet was on Saturday evening. That's pretty much my only request!

If Harkins can guarantee seats inside they can probably arrange for reserved car parking behind Barnes & Noble etc. After all, a bunch of Camaros lined up is a good sales pitch to see the movie for them.
If you are going to speak to the manager there is no harm in asking. |
