I think tomorrow on my day off I'll give Harkins a call, see if they'd like to do anything special. I'm sure they're going to want a date though so we should decide on that pretty quick. I'm just going to ask about that Friday and Saturday, though I would much prefer Saturday evening since I'll actually be able to come to that one! Just thinking like a manager if they're able to do anything at all it might be at some cost to us, so I'll just have to see what they say. I'm not sure they have any control over the parking lot around them or whether it's under the control of the Town Center themselves, but I do know they've parked cars on their sidewalk before so that's a possibility if they want us to.

Edit: Just checked the Harkins site, they have a 7:10 show on both Friday and Saturday following the release in the Cine-Capri (the huge screen that's nearly IMAX).

Well I just talked to the theater, and they said that for any group meet of any kind we would have to talk to their corporate office. So unless someone close by wants to go in and just ask if they'll accommodate us in any way, or would like us to do anything in particular in terms of parking, that's probably the only way we're going to make any headway.

And I'm perfectly alright with Saturday at 7:10 as well. We can meet at one of the many many restaurants over there at about 5:30-6:00 and then head over to the theater about 30 minutes till the movie. I ended up there about an hour early the last time I went to see a hot movie and had to wait for them to clean the theater out first! Plus the Cine-Capri is huge so we should be ok as far as seating goes, I just don't want to end up on the bottom row!

Hey Orca, it would be great if you can ask about parking. I know we could find parking on top of the garage, but what is the point in that?

Awesome! I love new members! Looks like we'll have a good amount of cars there. No Bumblebees though... Haha

So where do you guys want to eat? I kinda want to go back to McAllisters... That was a tasty baked potato...

I asked Harkins today and they said go to City Hall, Southlake. City Hall had me go to the Police Divisional Office assistant. She had a Lt call me back.

From the Lt : All the parking is public and you need a SUP (Special Use Permit),
from City Council to block off spots ....and pay big bucks for it.

If someone had some orange cones and yellow tape, put it across the twenty spots facing Harkins at 6:30am Saturday morning

think anybody would mind?

Orca
