They are from the canister that held the sense of humor, obviously since they fell off, there is no more humor left. Exit slowly, your likey to get bored reading further....

The only place I´ve seen things like that is under the hood. The strut covers have these thingys on them. But in the trunk I have not yet seen them (I did not read through all the comments here, so sorry if you´ve already got the answer you´re looking for)
