"clunk" when applying and releasing brake/gas

I hit a pothole like a month ago, and after that I have had this "clunking" noise whenever I apply or release my brakes/step on the gas at low speeds, and also when just rolling at low speeds. When I release or apply the brake there is usually just one clunk, but when I release the brake rolling forward to a stop (not touching brake or gas) it can be many clunks, nonrhythmic, but maybe like "clunk, clunk....clunk....clunkclunkclunk...clunk." (did that make sense??). Up until now this only happens going forward, NOT in reverse.

The noise seem to be coming from my front left wheel somewhere. I took it in to the shop, but they were not able to recreate the sound, nor did they find anything during inspection.

My initial thought was that something was loose, swaying back and forth, but the nonrhythmic pattern sort of kills that theory.

However, this is a brand new sound, only a few weeks old, and it is increasing. Any help??

Caliper? Did they pull the wheel during the inspection?

I donīt know, but they said they "troubleshot and visual inspection." Not sure if that involves taking wheels off.

Rear axle washers?

I did mine as they were the old ones small ones...

Start here, and the next several posts after this shows what I did...

Some of these have been an issue with our model year. Any other mods to the suspension?
