Another camaro owner joins the fray!

Finally got my baby.

2010 2SS/RS
Black M6

It was used with only 3600 miles on it, and I got it for 31,000.

Got $1000 trade-in out of my old civic which was below what I wanted, but it was my minimum acceptable value at least.

I'm a little nervous because I haven't driven stick for a long time and I live in an extremely hilly city right now, but I've been making it through ok so far.

I'll post some pics a little later.

Welcome to the community, glad you joined us! I've had my V6 LS for two weeks now, it is also a manual transmission. Do a search for topics created by me. There is one I made with a long list of tips for new manual owners. Much of it is basics that you already know, but you may find some of my techniques for hilly areas useful for your region.

congrats!and don't worry bout the issue of the manual transmission. my camaro is my first M6 and my first car as well. but no matter what type of area you live in driving a stick shift comes as second nature after a couple weeks!

Larz, congrats and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

31K is a pretty decent price for a 2SS/RS. Especially considering it only had 3.6K miles. That's barely used as far as I'm concerned. I have had mine for a month and a half and am at 1400 miles. So that car would be like 3 months worth of HARD driving for me. Not bad at all!

Now where's the pictures!
