I'll probably be going out to North Star in Denton on Friday. We got a new '67 chasis car today and will probably be making some test runs. It's supposed to run mid 5's. I'll probably take my 5th Gen as well just for fun while I'm there.
It's only $15 to run out at North Star.

I haven't confirmed we are going but I'm betting we do to give the new race car a shake down. Knowing my dad he will try to get there not long after the gates open. I usually make him wait till about 6:00 to leave so we get there around 6:30 or so.
I'll probably know more tonight. I plan to go over to my dad's place to get a good look at the race car.

Are talking about TMS or Northstar? I'll be going out to Northstar with the '67 and my 5th Gen.

My bad....wasn't meaning to jack the thread. I was just confused if he was saying he was maybe going to Northstar instead of TMS since he answered Wakemaker's thread which was based on Northstar's racing.

No harm, no foul. We have a good group going to TMS tonight. Just wanted to let you know that there would have not been any confusion if this thread would have stayed for TMS, as it was orignally created for.

How was TMS last night? must have been pretty fun because I ran into a brood of Vipers on 114 that said they were coming from TMS on my way home from Northstar.

TMS was fun, everyone that went got eliminated in the first round. i need more practice trying to launch on street tires on asphalt. there was some really good racing though, sasquatch was cleaning house. ill probably go again next year.

It was fun, but I had to race an Evo X on my first competition run and I got cleaned up (obviously). Greenmachine and I were at a slight disadvantage having hardly any tread left on our street tires though, on top of mine being all-season to start with. Not that it would've helped me beat an AWD car off the line, but it might have helped him a little.
