Would you turn your Camaro into a Hybrid?

this guy has an interesting way of doing it, I might think about it.

very interesting, I would love something like that just for my 5 mile commute to work where I can never get above 30 mph with morning traffic and all the lights.. But keep the 400 ponies for when I can open her up on the weekends..

I'd love it. Sometimes all I want is to get from point A to point B.

Maybe I'm in a bad mood or something so forgive me. but are people so stupid as to not understand the concept of saving a few bucks when you are driving in traffic. Just because someone thinks it's a good idea to save gas while sitting at a 20 red lights on the way to work doesn't mean they can't still blow you off the road later when the time is right.

your engine would still idle, it just would not be picking up the load as much. but it wouldnt be quite.

Im not sure it will work like the actual hybrid, they didnt explain it completely but if its generating electricity off you wheels spinning and not just the brakes, it would in theory increase MPG at any speed obove 0....but not sure just what it looks like to me.

Seems like a cool idea when driving in ridiculous traffic (which happens a lot here in L.A.)
And another positive note is that you save a couple of bucks here and there you can use for other mods
