Pipe dripping issue

I have this problem that has been running for a while. I have some serious pipe drippings on my parking spot obviously hitting my car. I´ve complained to the leasing management 8 times, but eventhough they say they´re gonna fix it, nothing has happened yet.

It has gotten to the point where my paint is really starting to show some damage caused by the drippings, and I´m wondering what my options are? I try to clean it away every time I see it, but I can´t keep going down to my car every couple of hours to do so (And I can´t go wash the car every day either). Up to this point I´ve kept a bottle of water and detail spray that I use whenever I see it has been some drops hitting my car, but that again gives the paint some small scratches.

I don´t really know what to do. Can I make them pay for a paint job? I don´t know about the rules here in the USA, since I´m a foreigner. At the same time I don´t want to become enemies with the property owners, I´m locked on a lease and I guess the rest of my lease would just be a big nightmare if I go hard on them.

I was thinking pics, but it´s really difficult to actually see any damage on the pics because of reflections and whatnot..

Sorry for the huge amount of text, but if someone could give me some pointers to what kinda rights I have, or anything else that could be of help, I´d appreciate it.

It's much better to get the cover messed up than your paint!

You could even put a terry towel on the spot it drips so that it just drips into the terry towel. I would get the cover too though.

While still pursuing what you want to the property owners, this is what I would do in the meantime.

Where is the drip coming from? Got a photo?

It´s from a pipe just above my car. I see that they have tried to seal it, but the seal breaks. Don´t have a pic of that unfortunately

I would buy some of that Flex-Seal stuf you spray out of a can and it places a thick rubber coating on the leak. run it a few inches in either direction when its nice and dry and that should hopefully fix things.

A cover or towel would only make it worse IMO. Think about it, a liquid gets saturated in the towel and essentially just lays there for a period of time never really drying. Least on the paint it can run off. I say use a GOOD Sealant and wax and continue to press the Landlord to fix the damn pipe, not just put a bandaid on it.

Can you hang a gutter under the leak and route the water away from your car?

Seriously. I used to work in a building where employees did stuff like this to keep drips away from their PCs. LOL

If it's just a drip, try a plastic bowl till fixed or you move.
