Get Ready for the next wave of complaints...

You heard it here first.

The next big wave of complaining and moaning is going to be people knowing their Camaro's are shipped and the dealer will not be able to tell them squat about it's location.

I know that UPS, USPS and FedEx and the like can track where a package is from start to finish all day long yet GM can't find a 4,000 lb. car!

Your dealer is NOT AN IDIOT if he can't tell you where your car is and when it's going to arrive. Short of you camping out at the dealership, it's going to be tough to be there when the car gets dropped off the truck.

Just be kind to your dealer. It's not his fault.

It is a little ridiculous. I remember going through this with my Grand Prix... wondering for weeks where the hell it was. I wish they gave you a little more info on its location...

There are dealers here who will tell you their story.

I called the yard in Doremus, NJ to track a sold Colorado that was built and shipped. They said they would send someone out to the yard to physically check to see where the Colorado was. The next day I get a phone call and was told I would have it in three days. When I hung up the phone, the driver was unloading the very same Colorado off the truck.

Sometimes they just don't know.

once the fowarding company gets it.... NO ONE will be able to find it.... my vette was just sitting on the dock for two weeks (not to mention the 3 weeks once they got it) until GM called them to find out why it was not delivered.... lucky you guys don't have to deal with such things....

Corvettes are shipped by truck only directly from Bowling Green (except for Alaska and Hawaii). What dock was it sitting on?

Haha. Disclaimer.

Not looking. Never mind.

See? That's what happens when you have a Camaro 2SS at 3400 for 3 weeks! My eyesight doesn't even notice the simple things. Duh! My bad.

I am an idiot for the purposes of this post only. ^^^^^
