We will also be attending this event. We are part of the Chicago 5th gen group, Dave and Kathy, and we will be driving our IOM 5th gen and we have our hotel reservations starting on Thursday night. We have tried to register on the occ web site and still can't do it. Of course we are planning on doing the GM tour also. Thanks.

The OCC site should be taking registrations for the plant tour soon, they are upgrading their site to handle this process. We (BBOMG) will be posting additional event info soon and sending email blast with updates as they come available!

Good grief, -20C is balmy compared to when Alberta hits -40 to -50C.
Grow a set, peeps.

Anything over 10 degrees C will have Albertans walking around in shorts and T-shirts. Or, as we put it... anyone can live in a temperate climate. We actually LIKE our cold. It weeds out the weak amongst us.

And YES... I spent six winters working up north in -40C (-50C or so with windchill). Yes, you can actually work in that. Yes, you can get s*** done during a normal work day. Honestly... not a big deal if you layer it. Keep the wind off your skin and you're just fine.

We have our own way of keeping warm.

Today, on campus, it hit 8C with sun. Tank tops and tight jeans kept most of the male populous occupied between classes.
