Cruisin' the Coast in October!

For those looking to attend one of the best events on the gulf coast, you'll have a blast at Cruisin' the Coast October 2-11, 2009! Great fun, lots of cruisin' and of course, lots of burnouts (watch for the cops, they DO pay attention!)

Here's is where you can find info:
http://www.cruisinthecoast.com/Schedule.htm

Great time of year to have the windows down, just riding around admiring all the cars, and of course, ladies!!! (I have a husband and he is not blind!)

And a great time to get the Camaro5 group together! Hopefully see a bunch of you there!

2010 CAMARO GROUP PICTURE!!!

UPDATE: Hwy 90 is complete, but Edgewater Mall has events added at about the time we plan to get there, so let's meet in Gulfport at the Prime Outlet off of Hwy. 49. We can meet at 11 am, Saturday October 10 (for those of us arriving the night before to recover!) and cruise together down to the water. And we can also take a picture at the mall as well. Just look for the 2010's!!!

If you have thoughts or suggestions, please PM me or post! Also, please let me know if you plan to meet and I'll make a list!! I'll be getting together with friends Friday night, October 10th, drinks and dancing, so I'll give you info when we confirm.

Yes, really cool cars, and lots of people out just enjoying the nice weather, playing cool music and just hanging out. Car competitions, get-togethers, all sorts of stuff. Kinda takes you back in time!

We'll be there October 9-11!

Need to start a confirmation soon to get an idea who all will be there, and find an area to meet.

I'll be there for sure, you going to try to set up a meet & greet? D'iberville community center is a great place for it, easy parking and a covered pavilion.

We'll be leaving Houma after work on the 8th and staying thru the 11th. It would be nice if everyone could agree on a time and a meeting place far enough in advance so that we could get as many Camaro's as possible.

We will be with 2 other couples that have older show cars and are entering their cars into all of the festivities. I just emailed CTC to see if they would allow 2010 Camaro's to enter. As soon as I get a response I'll post it.

If there is anyone who may know a good place to park for a meet and greet, we can start planning. I am thinking that many places are probably already reserved, so any suggestions? I know the mall parking will probably be limited, but there may be areas off 49, north or south of the interstate, or by one of the casinos. Just a few ideas to get started.

You're right most of the normal meeting places like the mall or casinos will be limited to CTC participants and actual casino guests. Somewhere off of 49 south maybe at a Walmart or something may be the easiest. If someone that lives in that area has a better location please let us know.

Thumbs up Sounds Awesome!

I just hope I get my car by then, my TPW is 8/31, so if everything goes right, I'll have it! This sounds like a bunch of fun!!

Cruisin the Coast is a "MUST ATTEND"

If you have never gone, you will not be disappointed. We've been going since2001 but never took the 67SS because it's too long of a drive and just too hot of a drive to do without AC.

This year we go in my new 2SS/RS (RJT)... Can't wait!!!

Last year we were shocked to see that so much was still in ruins along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, especially Waveland, I miss that little town and Burn-Out Alley, it's not the same at the race track.

If you are active duty or retired military (any branch) you can stay at the Navy Lodge on the SeaBee Base in Gulfport, as of yesterday there were still rooms available. Here's the info:
