LSA dyno run for review & comments

Finally got my car back from the tuner and looking for thoughts on the results. This is new to me so don't know what to expect.

2010 L99 with 80k miles. ADM stage 1, ZL1 fuel pump, Speed Engineering Headers, modified CAI to fit supercharger. I did not install the ADM fpcm on the advice of the tuner.

Results 437hp/442 ft-lbs at 7-8 psi. This is on a Mustang Dyno that he said a stock ZL1 hit 440hp max.

I asked about the duty cycle of the injectors to see about room for future build and was told 90%.

Thanks.

Looks about right to me on a Mustang. I believe the DynoJets present the 470-480whp results.

Was a baseline done on the same dyno?

Unfortunately not. I hadn't decided on who I was going to get to tune it when I started the install. That would be my first recommendation to anyone looking at doing something this major. It would help eliminate doubt since I don't have first hand knowledge of any tuner. It seems to run good and stronger than before, of course not driving it for a couple of months could be part of that.

Should the boost be a minimum of 7psi and max of 8psi? My next step I guess is to get set up to data log. I currently have OBDwiz that will log some basic data (https://www.scantool.net/obdwiz/#Supported_PIDs) but I haven't used it yet. I may need to go beyond that anyway.

I don't know about one dyno vs another and the typical variances.

But my 2011 L99 dyno'd at 334 at ADM damn near stock.

Andy installed the supercharger, headers, ZL1 fuel pump, FPCM and the rest of the stuff that goes in the stage 1, tuned & it dyno'd at 501/510.

Just got mine done last night, using a Dynojet. ADM stage II LSA (2.75 upper pulley). Stopped at 530/524. Tuner is the best in the area (NicD), and said the limiter was our 91 octane fuel. Pulled timing into the single digits. Happy with those numbers, though I thought 550-570 would be easy if I had regular access to 93. Hit the rev limiter on the way home, scared the shit out of me when the engine cut out for a sec. Thought I blew something!

At what boost level are people seeing over 500rwhp? I rather start seeing if I have a problem with my installation before I blame a possible problem on my tune.

what isn't right is why was the pull stopped at such a low RPM? should have gone to at least 6500...

I hadn't noticed that. If it continues increasing at the same rate, that puts me somewhere around 470hp.

Rpm stops when cam and eng stop making power, if it stops at 6k or 6200 then its no need to go past a 100rpm more max

I know it could be a stretch to just extend the graph at the same rate, but there isn't a turn down on the graph to indicate it had stopped making power.
