What about being a spectator on Thursday and sticking with Saturday only as a track day. For me I am renting an SS and have to wait till I arrive in Orlando to be sure the reservation is even honoured. Don't arrive in Orlando to 6pm Thursday so it would be late til I get to Valdosta. Although I am alredy booked in to host hotel for Thursday.

I'm lookin at arriving around 2pm on Friday and if the track is open I will be stopping by to get in a hot sprint or two. This is an excellent opportunity with the packed schedule on Saturday.

For those that want to skip the cruise and run a few times, I say go for it. Personally, I'm going to be at the hotel getting the car ready after the 1,000 mile drive. OUCH!

Hmmm.... Let me think about and consult with hubby too. It sounds like it might be a good idea to me. I'm not much for waiting and crowds, etc anyway and I'm sure my camaro won't win since it's completely stock. I'll get back to you in another day or two.
