or it could be seen as they streamlined this cheap looking one piece light to save themselves $, which HYPOTHETICALLY, if you really try hard enough to justify, maybe GM's savings will go into "development on how to make the camaro better" Hey I have some magical beans over here, any takers?

"Selfish" Ha so what. We pay good money for these cars. I think I'm entitled to be selfish. Last week I was working out of town with a colleague. We saw a 2014 SS in the parking lot, and guess what the first words out of his mouth were? The rear looks like a Prelude, not aggressive as yours! This is from a guy who knows jack about Camaro's. I do not hate it, but it lacks the aggressiveness of the 10-13. These type of decisions are what caused the death of the Camaro after the 4th gen.

Why all the hate for 2014s. There are three reasons.

1. People generally do not like change.
2. The 2014s are an improvement. This irritates every 2010-2013 owner. Yes, the 2014 taillights look like 90% of all Camaros produced since inception yet some think the "Corvette" taillights of 2010-2013 have always been on Camaros. They are wrong (this run on sentence is not an opinion).
3. People generally do not like change.

There are of course just opinions. Flame away if you wish, but you're entitled to your opinion and so am I.

Umm maybe the awful taillights do.
They were awful in 69 and guess what there still awful in 2014.
Actually the ones in 69 were better then these Accord looking lights..
But in what other way would you say it resembles the 69, certainly not the pinched front end the 14 has now..

I Dis the 14's because there not to my liking and much prefer the 10-13's but on another note I love the way the new ZL1 looks, probably cause its a ZL1 .....so those taillights, even know not digging them at all, I may have to deal with them in time....either that or a used ZL1 13 will be in my future.

14 owners you should be proud of your cars reguardless of what I or anybody else thinks, after all there still a Camaro and if there was no such thing as a 10-13 ....yep a 14 is what I'd be driving... So congrats to the new owners with there 14's!!

Don't generalize, you should say some not every , not every 10-13 owner hates the change, in fact several have even bought or ordered a 14 already.

sorry, nobody that looks at the 14's , say oh that resembles the 60's camaro . but hey , I don't hate the 14's just the taillights . Buy if you like

no flame, but I think it's silly for you to tell us why we feel the way we do....my ex ex-wife did that. She was wrong most of the time too.

I just think the tail is bland and boring, no need to go deeper in my psyche than that..

and I LOVE change - the new vettes are a change - they look fabulous...

The 2010-2013 5th gen camaros were/are an awesome concept and i fell in love instantly. The 2014s are just not great IMO, it has nothing to do with not liking change.i accept and like change as long as its an improvement, i just dont see it with the 2014.
