So, 1804 total Z/28's, not a bad run.

Maybe I missed it in the threads or article; but the Z/28 used in the HTH matchup was the same Z/28 that MT has be doing their long term test with for a year.
When I read the latest long term review in the Feb 16 MT edition, Scott Evans mentioned this testing before they send the car back. Last edited by Front Runner; 01-03-2016 at 11:15 AM. |

That LS7 is a work of art however, it's antique compared to the VOODOO. Flat plane crank with 8200 RPM redline is neat. It'll need to be revved up before you get that sweet spot tho. The LS7 has waaaay more TQ. GM needs to kill the 350R/GT500 with a twin turbo'd LS7 Z!

+2 on the GT350/GT350R being a nice looking car, and sounds amazing in person. I'm also impressed by it's performance vs MSRP, despite production #'s and dealer markup. But what do I know I'm an import owner.

Has anyone else noticed....and please correct me if I'm wrong but the 350R is no King yet.
The 350R still has yet to post a legit and not "alleged" Nurburgring lap time. Nothing online as of yet.. Only a randy P vid one lap on steel brake 350R Vs a bologna Skinned Z/28. The 350R has a 6+ gal less fuel tank Multiplied by the weight of fuel and your close to the weight advantage of 350R. That is IF you compare the Stripped 350R Vs Stripped Z28, yes the 350r as base comes WITHOUT AC and a radio. And how do steel brakes manage to stop just as effective or more effectively than carbon, after the first 4min in of thrashing on Nuremberg. Also the last 1min 20sec of record Z/28 Nuremberg time was done in the rain... Factor in humidity index was bad enough the track looked dark as F$&k for most of the Z's infamous hot lap , if not straight damp. |

I'm not sure what Nuremberg has to do with Z/28 or GT350. Perhaps you mean the Nürburgring? Next point. . . your first post here is to resurrect a thread that's been dead since the beginning of January? Seems suspiciously "troll-y" to me.

You just joined, have a total of 2 posts and your first posts are to resurrect an old thread and explain why the GT350/GT350R is inferior to Z/28. Oh, fancy that, you have a Z/28. I'd say that is along the lines of trolling. Sake of the argument, could you, yourself, in your Z/28 replicate the times on the Nurburgring? Simple question.
