Full range and Flat signal from Bose Doors?
I have a 2018 2ss auto with Bose:
1.Does anyone know if the signal after the Bose amplifier, that is going to the left and right doors is full range (20Hz to 20,000Hz)? 2. If it is full range is it a flat signal or does it need to be EQ? Thank you. |

None of the speakers are full range. They are all EQ'd. The closest to full range you get is the back door speakers. The front door are just bass, they are the best sub freq you will get. The back shelf speakers are bass but not as much as the front doors.

I am just looking for a clean sub woofer output from the Bose system.
So if I tap the signals to the door from the amp, Left + Right and mix them, I will get a subwoofer signal? I assume this is approximately (20hz to 100hz)? Is this sub signal flat? |

1) The speakers themselves are full range, meaning that they are capable of 20Hz - 20KHz. However, keep in mind the speakers, though not limited technically, cannot produce the full range of sound. 2) No where near a flat signal. This is a Bose system, the signal is not flat by any means. It is EQd to hell and back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
