Power steering rack leak

I check my power steering fluid two weeks ago and found it to be low.

Looked underneath and can see the right side rubber boot of the power steering rack was damp.

Local dealer ordered a rack and was installed on Thursday.

The steering feels more linear and natural now - or it could be just my imagination.

Dealer said this was the first power steering rack replaced on a Camaro for them.

Wondering if any forum member had the same problem or if I was just extremely lucky (or unlucky).

My car was purchased August 2010 and only has 11K miles.
