You said body, that is specific..besides name one car that does not have plastic bumpers today because of the fed government crash laws? Unless you want to go back to 1974-77 with the great big aluminum bumpers Camaros had then. Plastic covers made them look much better. Also interior surfaces have to be softer to prevent injuries. It's not 1967 any more, the Government tells how a car has to be made now.

*******Body Parts******* As for looking better that is a personal opinion. Durability > Looks. Thanks though informing me that it is no longer 1967, I had no idea! Finally, please refrain from starting arguments over the internet. It is childish and makes you look less credible. Enjoy

Arguments? I was just giving you reasons the bumpers and interiors are not metal. If that is what you call arguing then I apologize...

taragirl36,
I hear ya, I like the styling of the first gen and the first 3 years of the second gen partially because of the chrome accents. But those days are long gone unless we buy an oldie. Honestly though I am impressed with what GM was able to do to replicate the first gens in the fifth gen having to use plastics. Oh and there are chrome front and rear bumpers available in the aftermarket for the 5th gens as well as rocker chrome and quarter gills, etc.

I was also dissappointed that the car did not have a push button start. The feature standard on a lot of common vehicles and I thought it should be on the C. I have an XLR which has push button start. All you need is the keyfob in your pocket and the car doors open. However, when the battery dies you have no warning. The fob battery is always transmitting, so it dies quicker than my other fobs. Since the XLR does not have any door key holes you can not insert a key and open the door. What one has to do is open the key compartment in the bumper, insert the emergency key, lift the trunk and pull the emergency door release. This opens the door so that you can get in it. Once you are inside, the car has a compartment where you can insert the dead fob. The car will then.

Now, knowing GM they would use the same system for the C that they use on the XLR. This is a pain in the butt!! So even though I would like the push button start the regular key is much easier in the long run.
