I vote for combining the two.
I understand what you're driving at ,but I don't thinks it's the same in this case.

I just think it's crazy to lump a car that does exist in with with that doesn't. Then you have to sift through all the Z/28 rumor, and speculation threads just to read about the 1LE.

I thought this was a package added to SS... If I read that wrong, then I think it should be it's own Section with Z28. If it is a package option for SS, then I think there should eithe be a Sub-Section in SS or another Section all together.

These guys may be right; maybe just add a subsection in the SS section for the 1LE?

It's true that the 1LE is a go, and the Z/28 is still rumor & speculation. Once the car is built it will need it's own area, may as well do it now.

Its a package on the SS, should be a subforum under the SS forum. Otherwise, you either need to have a separate 1LE forum, or lump all the performance optioned Camaro's under one forum (Z28, ZL1, 1LE) and then under that heading have a separate sub forum for each model.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.........We have a winner!! Those are my sentiments exactly, a SS option/package needs to stay with the SS forum.

Chevy says the 1LE is faster than the Boss at VIR.

The 1LE is no SS imposter. Option or not. Merge the topics.

For me with no announcement, why is there a Z28 section?

Although I do like the section there has been nothing new for quite a while. Merging it with the iLE will keep it fresh.

Just like before the 1LE is for the trackies, not the posers.

Given the news about the 1LE, today....how would members react to altering this section's name - for now - to "Camaro 1LE/Z28 Forum - 1LE/Z28 Specific Topics"? I ask because, honestly, at this point I don't see a need for ANOTHER section for the 1LE...it's so young, yet. But it might be nice to have a place to focus the conversations...

Thanks for your input!
You don't see a need? There is no Z28 yet, why is this here? This should be a rumors section.
