Hey question, do the '12s M6 SS still have the skipshift?

Yes...and at first I was okay with it...but I've hit it about a million times in the past few days....gonna order a skipshift and get it installed at MTI when I'm up there.

I'm with you JT, I'm getting the eliminator soon too. I've hit it a lot too lately, it's very annoying in the colder months where it's more common.

Yeah, I suppose there isn't many people on here with 2012's to talk about it..everyone who was/is going to complain about it with their 2010's and 11's have already done so?
My manual doesn't have it...so either it got tuned out, or it has a skip-shift eliminator. What's the big deal? Can't you just do one of those? It can't be as bad as AFM in the automatics.

The Calloway? I'm pretty sure they put the eliminator in it. That's a beast out the door!

I'd imagine they tuned it out. Especially if you don't see the 1-4 shift message pop up.

The big deal is when I'm traveling around 2k rpm or so and less than 20 mph (normally around 15 i believe) and just wanna shift into second to save some gas (while not paying attention to the DIC) and the 1-4 happens... 1) I can't shift into second and 2) if I shift into fourth the car bogs down to like 500 rpms and starts to shake.

If I see it pops up without trying to shift I can just accelerate more and then shift into second, but its those times it wants me to shift into 4th but yet I don't see it on the DIC it comes by surprise and then I gotta throw it in neutral, wiggle it, and then put it into 2nd while holding up traffic.

Just a small annoyance that can be fixed with a inexpensive mod (<$20)
