Metra Double Din up and running w/ pix

Guys, I love how this kit looks. My installed stated there is a lot of work that is involved that is not inside the Metra kit. I will do the best that I can to post what I have learned.

If you live in Florida let me know and I will put you in touch with my installer..

Some notes from the installer:
He needs an antenna adaptor for the car as well as a small speaker for the onstar in the car. Without it no onstar.

Hertz Tweets are installed in OEM location with a tilt
Hertz 6.5s are installed in the doors w/ a custom wood spacer
Hertz Pair of 12s and box will be getting built on Monday!!
Tunning should happen Tues
Picking the car up weds if all works out..

Wow looks great, I wanted to do that but I don't think I am going to go with that bracket though. Very clean look though man. (I also love the blue double stitching)

Lucky man, I envy you haha. But when I trade in my LT for an SS, or the z/28, if its out by October,2011 I am for sure going to be getting the double stitch. My father has double stitch leather in 2009 cts-v, and I absolutely love it.

We are the only one selling it currently but if/when you move that direction let me know...

You can see my garage if you wanted to see more if you have not.

Please give us some feedback on the AVIC unit, I had a first generation 910BT and it was frustrating to use because of the software glitches (even with the firmware updates). I would love to hear that the new ones are working as designed with an efficient and user-friendly interface...

Hey after seeing how nice that dash kit looks installed. I went out and bought it today. And a new pioneer head unit. Is being stalled at this moment,
