Van Haters (Moms with sports cars)
I want to know if anyone else has got the nerve to drive around with babies in their Camaros. I just got my 2011 LS the other day and am going to have my 2.5 year old and my 4 month old in it with me. I got tired of mommy cars! I miss my sports cars! So this is my new toy, anyone else have the same feelings?

Not a mommy, but I commend you for not buying an SUV with a TV/DVD/PS3 in it. Kids dont have to have a TV everywhere they go. Take lots of pictures of the camaro with them in it. This maybe the future classic for them.

I have never been a "minivan" mom, always had small SUV's. Just traded in my Chevy Equinox for my Camaro and LOVE it!! My kids are on the older side - 10 and 13, so that does make it easier. Now the problem is - as the 13 year-old gets older who's car does she learn to drive in? My Camaro or the husband new Chevy Truck?? LOL!

Not a mom, but we have both. My wife has the minivan. I have the Camaro, but I transported our 5 year old to preschool every day last year and have both my 5 and 7 year old in it on many occasions.

Awesome! I am happy to know I am not alone! Yes we also have an Escape so I can take that on the days I need more space. I have 2 boys so raising them in a manual Camaro will be pretty awesome for them! My dad had a corvette when I was little and I used to ride in the "back." I've always been a sports car girl, had a 1995 mustang out of high school in through college. Got rid of it once we had our first child and I've been in sorrow since. Boy when this Camaro came out I was in LOVE! Couldn't resist! I will have to load some pics up of the kiddies cramming in there with me!

I would never let young children in my car but I don't have kids and "Cherry" is kinda my surrogate so I treat her like the princess she is... LOL I couldn't see driving around kids with food and stuff getting all over....but...that's just me. I'm only slightly kid-friendly LOL.

I am trading in my Escape for my new ride. I am the grandma so I will still have a car seat and at times the cutest 18 month old baby girl ever. :-)

When my daughter was born her first ride was a manual firebird formula, then a Buick Grand National, then a Camaro Z28, then a Camaro SS. Now, she's grown (19) and often talks about the memories she has for those cars. Oh yeah.... I'm a mommy!!
