Just tried with Google Maps on my Iphone. No dice. Guess the Google Maps app for it doesn't support the "send to car" function.:-(

OK, I haven't seen anyone actually say what their Username is for Google when trying to send the info to OnStar. I've tried my account number and name as I see no username when I log into OnStar.
What's the answer??

You have to create a user name on the onstar site. It's a little confusing at first.

This is what the OnStar site says...still trying to figure out my username however:
Find your destination at maps.google.com. Click "Send" in the maps or directions results. Then select "Car" in the pop-up window Log in using your vehicle’s make and OnStar username. In your vehicle, push the Hands Free Calling button and say "Virtual Advisor." Follow the prompts to retrieve your saved destination. |

How do I log in to OnStar eNav on maps.google.com?
To log in, you will need your OnStar user name. To create an OnStar username, please go to My Account. Enter your OnStar account number and zip code, then click on Create Account to set up your username. I guess I've already done this, yet I cannot recall what my user name is...is it the same as my Subscriber Name? Last edited by Waco; 07-25-2010 at 12:40 PM. |

No, not the same as your subscriber name - There's probably a link on OnStar to get your username. I only did it today, so not sure...
