My car is out of Warranty on time. Are there any way for me to have this covered by Chevy as it seems to be a known defect.

Nope...but I did research a while ago and it seems somebody figured a way to do this without removing the windshield..something about trimming the bolts from underneath..personally I would prob just disconnect hoses...good luck....peace out...
