My husband used to have a chameleon truck, and he misses is a lot, and yesterday we were talking about how badass a camaro would look with the body lines and such.. so what do you guys think??

I will include some pics of his old truck, and you guys picture it on a camaro, and tell me what you think

Never really liked that paint. Looks neat but kinda too much. imo

tooo much, a bit more subtle finish is the one used on the 1997-2002 Firebird. Just enough to give you a taste of it but not overwhelming.

I've never really like the iridescent paint jobs - just really not interesting to me. I have seen ones where its a dark blue metallic that fades around to a lighter blue, or a dark purple, or something like that - those I can dig. But when its one color in one spot (like orange) and a completely different color (like teal) elsewhere, it just looks tacky to me.

Sorry, Pink - just my honest opinion.

Well, that paint was a hot commodity when it first came out. I own a bodyshop, and have sprayed Dupont's version known as "Chromalusion". It comes in many different color-changing hues, and it is very EXPENSIVE. I just called my jobber, and here is the price: $464.70 per pint, $929.10 per quart.

Knowing this, I can tell you that repainting your new Camaro properly is expensive enough, but when you add the extra costs of this type of paint, you will be looking at well over $10,000 to make this dream come true.

I think if you keep the bottom half of the Camaro painted black and just did the top half, it will be cheaper and still give you the look that will turn heads.
