Has anyone done this with their mud guards?

I have a Summit White 2SS/RS with painted Inferno Orange Metallic Stripes and interior. I ordered a set of mud guards in IOM, they are not available in white. Has anyone done a car with different color mud guards or seen one? Anyone have a pic? We held them up to the car and they don't look bad, but would really like to see a car with them on it in a different color from the body.

Does anyone have any comments on this idea? Like it, hate it, think I'm crazy?

that would be awesome, thank you! We just want to get an idea of how it will look. I have seen a couple of cars with the ground effects unpainted, so technically in a different color.

Mud Guards = Necessary evil that you don't want to draw attention too.

They would be much better off on a white car if they were black unpainted. If you must put them on, why would you want to draw attention to them.

Post #23 contains a number of clear shots on the splash guards. These are about as clear as you can get... they're sorta hard to photograph, but these stand out because of the different color...

I had the same thought with the mud guards. My car is silver ice and I'm putting black decals on it and I'm considering a black spoiler. If I did get the gaurds I would definatly consider doing them in black.

I really like the quarter flares and their unavailability in white was one of the reasons I didn't get a white car. I would have a GM body shop paint them summit white to match, and I'm sure you will be happy with them. I think it will look retarded if they are some other color than the car. And if you don't run quarter flares, you'll have a lot of fun rubbing the rocker panels with bug and tar remover every time you wash it lol

I definitely want the quarter flares and we have decided to have them painted Summit White. So, on to the paint shop.
