plasti dip taillights and sidemarkers helllppp

hey guys just a question here has neone ever plasti dipped there tail lights and sidemarkers if so. how does it look and is it a pain in the ass thnx in advance

i dont think you can plasti dip over lights. that stuff is pretty thick i dont think the light would shine through

Someone had some pics of their plastidipped taillights on here a while back. It definitely darkened them, but some light still came thru.

The great thing about plastidip is you can try it, and if you don't like it, you can peel it off, no harm no foul.

yeah i did it on my sidemarkers u can still c a good amount of light. but might be to dark for the tailights thnx

Plasti Dip makes a product called smoke and you can gauge the amount it darkens by layering. The more you layer, the darker it gets.

I had my tailights plastidipped for awhile and just removed because I wanted a glossy look and went with nightshade. But on the tailights I just did a light but good coat and plenty of light showed through and I have had cops right on my bumper and not been bothered once.
