I no longer have my LLT but the one I had was over 30,000 miles with no problems.

Front oil seal was leaking at 40 000 miles. Had the dealer to check the timing chain at the same time they replaced the seal. The timing chain was coming loose and they changed it under warranty. Thing is that I did'nt have any symptomes that the chain was loose. So just don't trust what you ear or not, that does'nt mean that the timing chain is OK....if youear nothing.

No, I have had no problems with my timing chain so far. Knock on wood, and I am at 32129 miles so far. I have a 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS, and it is a Early Order Activity (Pre-Order) car. I also have the dealership check the oil every 1,000 miles because I am concerned about the issue of my oil disappearing and having a wrecked engine.
