you folks with the SS, are those cars your daily drivers or just weekend car? if i didnt have 55 miles round trip to work and back, then i woiuld consider the V8. but, i just dont want to feed gas all the time. i have an 07 Envoy Denali with the 5.3 V8. i use it to tow and trips out of town with my son. but, it uses the gas. however, its not my daily driver. the camaro would be. I had a 86 Camaro with the 305 V8, was a good engine and did pretty good on gas, but gas a little cheaper back then.

if the camaro ss came with all seasons, and got 29 on the highway, and if price was closer to LT, i would consider. i have driven both SS and LT, both a friends car. both were 2010. LT was auto, SS was manual. of course taking off, the SS had more get up and go, but once i was on hwy at 70, they both were same to me. both drove really great and i could live with either, but being a daily driver, 50 miles round trip, i am not loaded and dont want to add to Conoco and BP bottom line anymore than i have to. lol. plus the price of car alot higher on the SS, and if i get vert, the LT is closer to being affordable

You are the one driving it and paying for it, so you must decide the best compromise.

IMO, I don't care for beige tops and I think resale would be more difficult, although, it may not be, due to there being so few. Go for what you like.

any of you folks have opinion. looked at a new 2013 black 2lt vert on lot. new with 58 miles. but build date sept. 2012, so car a year old. non rs, polished rims, with nav. its under invoice now at 34K with the gm rebate. i am still toying with whether a coupe or vert. but this car a year old, not sold. is that a red flag? i guess this may be a good test sitting out a year, if no leaks or not. is a nice car. had several 14 there too . i am considering a 2014 2 LT coupe too. the back seat is not wide in vert due to thick side panels in back. thanks

i test drove a vert and coupe today at dealer. both new cars, 1LT coupe and 2LT vert. i noticed road noise is more on vert with top up. kept looking back thinking back window was open. is this normal? the area behind back seat is open to trunk, so maybe that was it too. coupe was quiter but both drove the same. little more blind spots in vert . thanks
