Pretty much every time i start up the car the TC is going to be turned off. I usually leave the ST on though but mostly because i dont feel like holding it down for 7-10s and TC is usually good enough for my fun. I could only imagine how much more fun it would be without summer tires and maybe 18's instead of 20's.

I always turn both nannies off in the case that I might need a quicker get away! Bugs me of the thought that they are on and limiting me even if only a little!

Question!
I assume the traction control is just that! It keeps the wheels from spinning! and if so then stops them! correct? What does the stability control actually do? How do they work? Just curious!

I have a V6 manual and practice a burn out about once a month. Turn off the traction control and stability control. Rev to about 3,xxx or 3,5xx rpm and let her rip. It's much easier on the drivetrain by spinning one tire.

The practice is necessary when I need so show someone why I didn't have to have a V8.

With the traction nazis off, I've had my rear end let got in third when the juice hits. And when its let's go, it can get scary fast. Be careful is right.

Put the Hancook v12s on last time. Great tire for the price. Problem with any of these low profile wide tires is once you get them to the point of letting it burn, there ain't no stopping.it, so it doesn't take a ton of burnouts to get to that point, but man are they fun. They wife says wow too!
