Not worth the risk. Those brackets are engineered for 2 and I hope you don't get into a collision with a kid seated there.

well, thats why i dont sit back there well i live in an area that is not up on the list of respectable neighborhoods, my daugher invites the little girls from across the street to go, becuase her brothers n uncles are always outside getting high n drunk:(, i dont think she minds sitting on the middle hump for a little bit (20 min) to get away and go see a bunch of other camaro getting together. it not for a long trips, but for short quick trip once or twice a month. thanks for all the input lupe |

Makes, sense. Not sure why GM didn't inlclude it with the vehicle. Better to have a seatbelt on than nothing at all. And, this idea is for a young child not a grown adult.
There are numerous times when you may have 2 adults and a child in the back seat. This 3rd. belt option is a great idea.

Just had a thought to share; I would guess that other GM vehicles use the same belts and styles, and most likely have a centre belt. ie - Cadilac CTS, or Escalade. Could go to a GM dealer find a vehicle that has the same belt styles, and ask them for the part number order it or find it online for a cheaper price.

On a recent trip to Vegas i had 3 girls in the back seat, my wife and 2 friends, they didn't complained, but this would have come in handy. I guess not paying for gas or hotel contributed to not complaining. You know how we Mexicans do. |
