Lets call Saturday's meeting 'The Waitress Coefficient'.

The meeting was focused on getting together and having a great time.

We learned a few important things:

* James learned that either the restaurant has no butter, or the waitress has no
concept of the word 'butter'. (Maybe he should have asked for Parkay?)

* No matter how you order them- you will never get your Knot rolls.

* Trying to take Mark's Chicken Afredo may be a life ending experience.

Once we regrouped and started eating while Bar patiently watched us with a hungry look in her eyes, we were again content to enjoy the culinary treats we came for.

After we were well fed and happy, Eric updated us on a couple of Club business items.

The Brighton Car Show is Saturday the 23rd (this weekend). and Eric has entry slips for those who would like them. The show costs $25 to participate. In case you were on the fence about going, a Mustang won best of show last year and it is our civic duty to make sure that doesn't happen again this year!!

The Bluff City Shootout is on May 6th at MIR. Please show up if you can. There will be racing for fun, and our top 5 will compete for bragging rights against their top 5. Bluff City Mustangs is a group of fun people who happen to drive Mustangs and a good time is had by all whenever we get together. This event is headed by William.

'The Turtle King' Adam has found a special place for 'Gutz' the turtle the club gave him for his birthday...it is now a wheel chock for his truck. Happy birthday from the club Adam!

Bobby partied through another birthday recently and was still recovering when the meeting came up so he couldn't make it. Happy Birthday from the club Bobby!

William laid out eating Ritz crackers and Cream Cheese in his underwear while using work as an excuse.

Johnny was going to eat Ritz crackers and Cream Cheese, but work made him stay over so he had a good excuse this time.

We had a good time, but we would have all had a better time had Kris and Colby packed us in their bags for the fabulous cruise they were enjoying this last week!
The cruise line put out an internal memorandum this morning blacklisting the Crims from ever cruising with them again, citing: "A severe loss in profits suffered from their (the Crims) use of every fun activity offered by this cruise line.". I guess they had a REALLY good time! Happy Anniversary from the club you two!!

That's pretty cool for a loaner. Didn't think they would have them out in loaner options yet.

This guy spends a lot of money at the dealership, plus the manager is his buddy for like 40+ years.

Saturday Meeting went well. Lots of chips and mucho grande margaritas.

Barry and his wife came out and got to meet some of the club.

We are leaving at 9am for Lambert's this coming Saturday (May 21).

We are leaving Friday, June 10th, for Tail of the Dragon trip with Music City Camaro. Please see Eric for more details.

Cars & Coffee is May 28th. If the location is at Napa again in Bartlett. Many club members agreed they may pass on it. They prefer the original location in Germantown. We will have to wait and see on where they move it to this month. Also, many are wanting to do a Poker Run again. Perhaps this is something we could organize ourselves with other groups?

I am close to closing a deal on new shirts being printed as well as decals. A few members asked about ball caps. Will get with the printer on that too.

Club has requested club cards. Will get an official quote for a box of 500 and then gather donations to cover cost.

Everyone enjoyed El Porton, but mentioned wanting to try Huey's next month so we will give that a shot.

Mark has shown an interest in making a club trip to Arrington Vineyards. He will get more info and get with the officers concerning this.

Sorry for the late club notes.

Everyone enjoyed their food at Huey's despite having to negotiate how to move tables. Parking was more than adequate and wasn't too packed.

We have selected a vendor for our new club shirts and ironing out the final details. Cost is expected to be around $20 a shirt.

Club Business Cards have been ordered. Each member owes $5 if they would like cards.

Decal sample is on the way from the same vendor who will be printing our shirts.

The vendor also mentioned about making hats and keychains. Will get info on what they can do for those.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the trip to Lambert's. It has been requested by a few members to do this twice a year.

Tail of the Dragon went well despite the low turnout from Bluff City.

Our next trip is July 9-10 to Bowling Green, KY. Please see Adam, Cooley, or myself for more info.

I'm sorry for the extremely late posting of the notes...I completely forgot and had to be reminded. But the beatings made it all worth while!!
Meeting notes from July 16th, 2016.
We met at Mellow Mushroom and spent the next two hours or so enjoying each others' company and talking about pikachu.
After the meal and a lot of grumbling about Johnny not paying for everyone's meal, we waddled out front to huddle up for the meeting.
The meeting discussed a few upcoming events and adjourned to put many handprints on Adams' new 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro and take turns sitting on the hood.
After Adam was thoroughly angry, we moved on to anger Mark and Aston about how slow their cars are since they opened their bank accounts to the parts gods.
With everyone equally distracted from how jealous we all are at their excellent work, we slowly filtered off to our living rooms to digest our meals and burp in private.
Jerry brought up casual cruises and get togethers. These are events that someone wants to have which don't require a lot of planning and could be as simple as meeting for lunch, or having a cruise to somewhere in the area.
We also talked about an occasional trip to the cruise in that takes place in Southaven.
The events we discussed are:
July
22 - Star Trek movie night at Germantown theatre. Thanks to Jerry for
this event.
23 - Cars and Coffee at Firestone off Exeter RD.
August
6 - Shiloh day trip. Schedule and meeting place will be posted soon.
13 - Club meeting. Location to be determined.
Looking a bit forward, the LS Fest is coming up Sep. 9-11.
If I forgot anything, or if you have something you would like to add; just post here or let us know.

Last night was the meeting of the minds of BCCC. After a high carb infusion and much trash talk, everyone wandered outside in a pizza filled haze and took over the outside seating.

We discussed some of the upcoming events in the world of cars and those interested in them. We also discussed some club business.

This coming Saturday is this month's Cars and Coffee, weather permitting.

Sep. 9-11th is the LS Fest. Adam counted four hands for attendence.

Sep. 24th is Cars and Coffee.

Oct 22-23rd is our meet with MCCC in Nashville. We need to figure out where we are going to stay that weekend as it is an overnight trip. Jeff's house was suggested.

For some unknown reason, William has joined the Army. He plans to spend 6 month long nights reminiscing about Memphis and his Camaro while standing watch in the Antarctic. One tip; learn to play Spades, William!

We need to plan a send off for him before he ships out for boot camp.

We discussed putting officer positions up for a vote. We decided to carry this discussion forward, and would like input on our chat or through private message.
