The ZL454 doesn't have a supercharger.

Correct. Diablo tune, SLP powerflo muffler, CAI, Eibach 1" lowering springs and adjustable swaybar kits is all the performance and handling that goes into the ZL454. Entry level ZL. The rest is all appearance. WHeels, Hood, Dove tail spoiler and the painted on stripe package.

The ZL575 is the Supercharged package.

who did the stripes? im thinking painted stripes, in the future, instead of the vinyl on mine now.

Highland body shop did them along with the hood and spoiler. You should pop in and check it out. I hear there are some springs and swaybars calling your name...LOL

is this just a show car or are you able to purchase it?
also does it have gm warranty?

I don't understand..... why didn't this car come from SLP with all the goodies? SLP is supposed to paint the stripes, if you ordered that option. And, yes SLP does have a warranty, (which is a big deal with the supercharger) but like I said... doesn't look like SLP added the options??

You have the option to send the car to SLP to get it done, but if you are an SLP dealer and installer it can be done on site as to not lose the car and add miles to it. In the late nineties/early 2000's we were the SLP dealer as well so it's nothing new to us. Really, all techs here are trained properly so the install is really nothing out of character.

They send the kit with everything to us and we install it.

Oh OK.... thanks for clarifying. I forgot that you could have the car sent to SLP after taking ownership.

Even before taking delivery. If someone factory orders a 2SS/RS for example, and would like to make it a ZL585 (yes it's the newest and greatest) they can ask for it so it's done before they ever take possession. How are you loving your ZL575? Bet it sticks you right in your seat when you punch the pedal. So much fun.***drool***

I LOVE IT!!!! That's what we did, ordered it and then from the GM factory it was sent to SLP and then back to our dealer. It was nice to meet some of the SLP "people" at the All GM Nationals in the Carlisle, PA this past June.

ZL585 (yeah I saw that)....... where did they get that extra 10HP??
