My white 2SS/RS was picked up from the dealer PM yesterday. The first place I went was to my friends body shop where they had ordered two red trunk emblems for me.... It took the painter all of 3 minutes to install these. by the way, they are peel and stick. I've driven this car all of 80 miles and the attention my Camaro generates is amazing.... Do you ever get used to the attention ?.

Agree with the guys that think it's too much badging. Car designers don't like badges, MARKETING people do. That's why they're there.

Ok, I'm not trying to argue, buuuuuut here is the link: http://www.chevrolet.com/vehicles/20...ro/features.do In the powertrain section, the Displacement row: 3.6L/220ci or 6.2L/378ci maybe GM is rounding the ci's WAY up? I'm thinking about getting the ci's painted on the cowl of mine when I get it, and I was telling my wife I couldn't remember what it was, but thought it was 376, so she looked on Chevy's website.....and of course proved me wrong.... Thats where I'm coming from with this, want to get it right, not trying to start anything...sorry if I came off that way.

^^ Actually they did round it off with the liters (not quite 6.2), with that
said it really is "376". |

NP. When rounding up to 6.2L you are correct. The engine is actually 6162 cc, 6.16L, or 376 C.I.

I think they look good either place, I choose hood cowl. My Z06 has 427 on the cowl, so I measured and put SS in the same placement.

Personally, I'm a fan of the single red SS on the cowl just like jdurhan's CGM above this post. I plan on doing the same thing to my CGM when it arrives in a few weeks. Bottom line...make it yours and do what YOU want. Just remember, opinions are like a$$holes. Everybody's got them, and most of them stink!

Here are some shots of the White SS below the shifter and on the the dash instead of the Red SS. Will probably end up putting the Red SS below the shifter. The white looks good too. I ordered all these from Dave Hiller at Newman Chev in the parts department. They are the exact same badges that come stock on the SS and RS

I like the white SS on the hood or under the Camaro on the fender. Too much with both on the hood. Are you adding stripes? Like the SS on the dash. Congrats on the new ride too! Matching isn't so bad.
