Thank you much - it was a win for all mankind. The racing world as we know it will be refined with this groundbreaking event.

The stats:

- it was at least 200 pounds light than me
- it had two extra cylinders
- it clearly had an effort in making it go fast with a cam and headers

I have 4 kids - i stopped at 4 because statisically 1 in every 5 kids born are Chinese and i felt it ackward to explain why one kid looked different to everyone.

Stats are stats.... It is what it is. Had he won I wonder if we would be saying - of course he won he had a built V8... Just sayin.

Easy too bash, but i don't see the bashers posting any vids of their huge accomplishments. Always somebody with something to say. Most of them live under bridges.

Your car runs great times, but flaunting this title is asking for crap. Do you think guys on gtr forums boast that they beat up v8s all day?

I got yer back man....13.8 is quick and something to be proud of...many of the smart guys in this thread have never been to a track and they believe all the hype that an SS is a 12 second car stock.

The best way to piss these types off is to ignore em completely...they are trying to get a rise out of you.

Birds of feather comes to mind here.. thank you.

I find a lot of humor in threads like these. I rarely take offense to anything posted on these forums. Most of it makes an interesting study in humanity.

I think he did just fine. In my younger hot rodding days I took a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix and turned it into a 4,500 lb 650 hp monster. Don't be so quick to call this a non-event.

Good job!

I know - inflammatory - but dang it is time for the V6 crowed to be proud(er).

Great run!!!

Some guys are just poor losers... I've seen my fair share of V8 guys get all bent out of shape when they realize they got beat by a V6... some to the point where they come stomping over in the pits and yelling "IS THAT REALLY A V6???" LOL!

Again, very nice run and way to get out there!
