My 3rd FI Setup LSX UPP TT

I had a desire to take a chance and go in a different direction with my car. I have been in contact with UPP for almost 2 years researching their setup while testing their customer service. I wanted to ensure I had support while investing in a setup. I am a big fan of AGP, especially for a daily driver. But I wanted something that will set me apart at car shows/meets with the hood popped. My car is mostly complete and will be shipped to UPP next week for a look over and tune.

Some details of my build featured in this youtube video:

Really nice looking build!!

A lot of guys seem to go with the 427 LSX. Just curious why you decided to stick with the 376?

Im not a expert this is all learning for me. My thought was purpose built LS7 NA vs something built for boost with lower compression.

Understand, and I am in the same boat with you on the learning curve. Don't want you to think I was bashing in any way. Plenty of power can be made with a 376. My shop is steering me toward the 427 just because it makes power more easily, but I have certainly considered staying with a 376.

Please keep us posted how the tune/dyno turns out! I am excited to hear all about it.

The lsx376 b8 isnt much if any stronger than a stock Ls3 internally, is heavier and would likely make less power than a cammed Ls3 due to the lower compression. The lsx376 b15 is the next step up with stronger internals and 6 bolt heads. For less than 1000hp I would rather just have a stock Ls3 block with some nice forged internals than either of them.

I know.. B15's were on back order, and I didnt want to wait 4-6 months for a build.
