What would you do? - Camaro arrived but weather terrible

I got the call from the dealership that my camaro has arrived. I'm very excited but a little nervous because the weather sucks. Been pouring rain for days with no sign of letting up and looks like its gonna turn to snow this weekend. Dealer wants me to pick it up tomorrow but I want to be able to do a thorough walkaround and don't think it will be possible in the rain. When I do pick it up it will go straight to the garage until warmer weather arrives. So my question is would you leave it on the lot until nicer weather or go get it? If I do go get it, should i dry it off once it's in the garage(concerned about water spots)? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I would definitely get it before the snow gets there... That's just my opinion. And congrats on the new camaro!

Pick it up, it’s safer in your garage. Just wait till the roads are cleared by the plows. We have over a foot of snow here in north jersey. Congrats!

i would pick it up.if you don't want to pick it up,you could have your sales person put it in the show room or service area.they have to prep it anyway.

I went and paid for mine last Friday but I left it there. Was supposed to pick it up yesterday but it was snowing here in Wisconsin. Now my pick up date is this coming Saturday. It is at Newman Chevrolet under the watchful eye of CamaroScotty. He said it is tucked away in a corner with a sold sign on it. I would think your dealer would have no problem doing the same until YOU feel you are ready to pick it up. Congrats!

Check it out in a service bay or the body shop area where it will be warm and well lighted. Then take her home and put her away until it warms up.

Have them rope it off in showroom and give you free oil changes as payment for the display until the summer only tires will not be in snow.

Have him keep it high and dry inside of his service department for the walk around then take it home unless we are getting a blizzard. The Boston weather calls for snow showers so go for it. When I got my 2002 SS I picked it up in a torrential down pour. After calling once a week for 3 months, I couldn't let it sit there. I waited 7 months for my 2010 SS but got lucky. The sun was shining.

dude....I'm in the same boat as you....everything is ready to go with my car as well...all I have to do is pick it up. I've been beside myself all week about it. I think I might actually take delivery of it tomorrow...I live in Boston and I think I might actually get a window of OK weather.
