i ordered a SIM 2ss/rs camaro w/ all the bells and whisles..its going to come to 40-41k after taxes...my friend is a GM at a place called MATT BLAT in jersey..he said they have an 08 corvette w/ 3k miles list price 39k...since he's my friend i'm sure he will go lower then that..also it had a lot of options maybe it was a 2lt or 3lt i don't know...
which 1 would you choose?

If it's not a Z06, don't even waste the money. If you're going to spend the money on a high-powered V8, you might as well go for the Z06 or just chuck out the extra couple of grand for the Camaro SS.

I agree with Vash.....there are alot of vettes out there....the camaro is going to be new and has not been around for a few years..........I will be waiting for my 2SS/RS Camaro.....

Exactly, I'd go for the Camaro SS over the base Corvette.

We all know you truly want the Camaro over the Vette Being you chose to ask this question on a Camaro forum and the majority will say get the Camaro, save yourself the trouble and forget about the Vette.

If you don't want the extra utility (back seats, larger trunk) of the Camaro the Corvette is faster, better handling, etc. The Camaro will be 'new and unique' for a year or two but then it won't be, but if that's important to you factor it in. If this is an only car the Corvette has downsides, if it's not going to be an only car I would see how cheap you could get the Corvette and consider what you really want. The idea of not considering it is just crazy though, it's a fantastic all around sports car if you want a sports car.

The Camaro will be attention seeking for the first year, then you will see how many hit the streets, so it really is all what you want. Your getting a lighter car with the same
LS3 that comes with your SS.
4 seats vs 2 seats, by the way, the trick to sitting in the back is to have your legs open, cant keep them straight (for those who will argue the back seats being functional)
If it was a Z06, i would definitly go with the Z06, but with a vette, you have a very hard choice.
Good Luck either way its a chevy so youll be happy.

the vette is not the color i want (black vs. my fave silver) and the ss will have almost every option..what exactly do you mean "not a daily driver"? do you feel every bump/ is it that uncomfortable to drive daily?
