Talking HUD Conformed...

Don't know if anybody has addressed this today or not but GM has conformed there will be a HUD available in the higher packages. But...
...not available for vehicles produced before Dec 2009.
And wait will be looker for me. I love the 3LT Vette HUD so I know that I'll love the Camaro's & yes it's a must for me.

Calm down - the labels don't show up anywhere on a car.......

and if that's all it takes to make you want to buy a Mustang.........I'm very concerned for your well-being!

No -- the U.S. government changed the way EPA fuel economy is calculated (for the 2008 model year)-- if you liked the fuel economy that the LS1 cars got -- you'll LOVE what the L99 ACTUALLY gets on the highway.......

So they're being conservative(underestimating) the numbers?

the Auto has active fuel management -- but trust me -- the performance between the auto and the manual is very close!

sorry all -- I could only get to page 6 -- and it's 1:17am -- will try to get to the rest later this week!

Keep the faith!

(and sorry if I sound a bit 'flip' with some of you -- but I'm quite tired after a long week thusfar!)

(but I STILL can't get the smile off my face after yesterday's event at Royal Oak!)

You finally put Shunt out of his misery?

EDIT: See the picture I picked out of the bunch for an explanation or PM me if you don't get it.

60 mph & quarter-mile numbers

From edmunds: "Chevy's Camaro SS outfitted with the 422-hp 6.2-liter LS3 V8 six-speed manual hits 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and runs a 13.4-second quarter-mile at 108 mph according to Oppenheiser. Strangely enough, Oppenheiser also claims that the automatic-equipped SS Camaro, which is rated at 400 hp, runs from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 13.3 seconds. "We optimized the shift points," he said."
