Thumbs up Colorado Show for kids at The Children's Hospital, Aurora, CO

Hey Everyone,

We are scheduled for our car show for the kids at The Children's Hospital on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:00 P.M. We will meet 12:00 Noon at the Pepsi Center, 1000 Chopper Circle, Denver, CO and then be escorted to The Childrens Hospital in Aurora, CO by the Denver PD's drag racing Corvette.

We can only have adults participate, no one under 18 yrs old, so you can't bring your kids. This is due to the swine flu outbreak. Also, if anyone has a hint of a sniffle or cough, please don't attend. We can't have the kids catch anything when their immune systems are weak already!!

We are going to try to make up 200 goody bags for the kids, no food
or anything that could be a choking hazard. The hospital said we need at least 200 souvenir bags, all with the same contents. They don't want any hurt feelings among kids if one gets something that another one doesn't. And they want the kids that can't participate to get the same bags, so they don't feel left out.
Good merchandise in the bags would include: stickers, pictures,
hats, die cast cars(as long as no choking hazards) etc. Any help would
be appreciated, contact local Police and Fire Depts, businesses to see if they would donate anything, etc.

I need an RSVP asap to let them know how many cars
will be attending. We need a firm number!!!

Thanks John Fitzpatrick, Camaro Marketing Manager for GM, for
coming through and sending 200 Camaro hats for the kids!
Thanks Summit Racing for providing goody bags for 200 kids.
Thanks Tami at Bandimere Speedway for stuff to put in bags.
Thanks to Randy "ud_lose" for getting stickers from DenverPD
Thanks Chris at Peak Eurosports for the stickers.
Thanks Kinkos in Loveland for 50% off the pictures.

Call me at the number on the OP if you can make it. So i can
reserve you a spot. It would be a nice road trip, and you wouldn't even have to get up early!
