I say do what you want. My mods wouldn't have changed if I lived in CA. Just have a friend who is a dealer...in case anything breaks and when your car needs inspected/tested. Or else just be prepared to pay to play.

Stieger- Just a suggestion, but maybe we should have a "will this void my warranty" section of the forum, seperate from "Powertrain/warranty/recalls" thread, so more experienced car guys don't have to see these EVERY time we log into the "exhaust/bolt-on's" section... I understand people are novices to the car game and they are here to learn, but some stuff is common sense and its pushing other important threads down. Hopefully, it will also teach people how to use the search button.

Nut the same thing would happen. I guarantee you, any warranty related question as already been asked and answered on this forum. People need to learn to search for information.
Also when "non-car" people, as you know the kind of people I mean, tell you that something voids your warranty; just nod your head and smile. Odds are they are like everybody else and brainwashed into thinking that any performance mod automatically voids your warranty. |

This is the conundrum of warranty regulations mixed in with living in CA:
The mods that don't void your warranty and are fairly cheap are illegal. The mods that you really want (tune, supercharger) void warranty.

Stieger is right on.
Also wanted to let the OP know that push rod V8's only have one camshaft. |

1 7/8"*, 7/8* do not exist either.
Also, this engine is an over head valve design, so there's only one camshaft.

This is just my opinion, but I don't go looking through a lot of the sub-forums that these posts are being moved to. I will click on them sometimes in a general thread, but would never see them in the thread they have been moved to. I think people will post a lot of things in the general thread because almost everyone stops in there and that is the best place to get the most responses, at least at the beginning.
