Friend of mine bought a new 70 SS Malibu when he got home from VM. Stiil has it. It is black with gold stripe package.

Saw a new Camaro SS, Black with gold stiripes. I thought dang that is a nice color combo. And my friend walks out of the store and dang if it is not his. He now has both. Sorry no pics. But I do find the black with gold to be striking.

I agree. Black with gold is stunning. Somewhat reminiscent of Smokey & the Bandit, but still stunning.

I wish GM offered Gold stripes as an option, I would have bought a Black Camaro with Gold stripes if they did.

Ya, I have been aming for a '12 SIM or IOM but this Black and gold does have me thinking. Just that I am over the top on a clean ride and it is so dusty down this way. But very nice combo...Did not know GM did not offer such. I guess he had them painted?? Will ask.

Don't think a 70 SS Malibu ever existed. SS Chevelle yes...but don't think the SS carried the Malibu tag.
