KB boost a pump Opinions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am seeing a lot of bad talk about a KB Boost a pump. I am wanting to know what is bad about them. I am about to get a maggie 2300, cam, headers, exhaust, cold air intake, 65Lb injectors and a boost a pump. They are telling me that I will need 1. They say they have put several on and it really helps. Those of you that are having problems let me know before I do this so I can change my setup.

You won't have any problems .. I have run them in a few cars and no issues at all. It isn't even on all of the time. Normal driving you it is all like stock ..

They work perfect!

Just depends on if it is installed correctly.

There is a thread on the install but there was never a clear answer to where to wire it in. Before or after something(I forget exactly what was referred to) You happen to have input on that? Im planning to install one myself.

Is it specific to the Camaro?

I thought my BAP came with Camaro specific instructions. I'll have to double check.

I have mine but havent done anyting but open it up. Probably install it this coming week. I think my instructions are generic. There seems to be confusion on intalling it before or after something. Ill have to hunt that thread down.

Mine is on the back page and says "2010 Camaro"
