Midnight rim care
I was recently driving and the car in front of me hit something that popped up and chipped/scratched one of my rear midnight silver rims. How do I remedy this?

If it's just scratched you can buy touch up paint from the dealership. If it's chipped, I'm not sure what can be done. I guess just call it a war wound.
I'm sure repair shops could sand it down and repaint it, but if it's just small, I'd just touch it up and move on....

you can get touchup paint with the clearcoat with it.put it on rub it out and your good to go.

Wrong on the touch up paint.One ingredient in the paint is not released to any paint jobbers!!!!!!!!

Mine was scuffed.My good friend is a custom painter who has his own paint mixing machine with an electronic scanner.When it scanned and then mixed it came out pink.He took the wheel to a local jobber with the same results.They contacted the company and they said the company painting the wheels is not releasing one ingredient.So my painter spent a whole day mixing and playing till he got a match.Believe me i am anal when it comes to my vehicles and it matches perfect.Good luck finding touch-up paint that matches.
