My Salesman is GONE...

So, i read all this great news on CGM coming off contraint (slightly) and i'm curious why my dealer hasn't called me yet. He wasn't the most informed person but i've been getting calls each week about the constraint.

Sooo...i call the dealership to get some info and find out if i got luck. "I'm sorry, David ____ no longer works here" i got a little worried she patched me over to the new guy who has my order.

He's calling GM to find out what my status is, i'm kinda worried they forgot about my car or something **just called back. He said he didn't have a TPW week yet, he didn't know what my status # was (assumed still at 1100) He didn't really have any info at all.

Dealers/knowledgable people: Was is possible for the dealership to submit my order during the constraint, and just wait until GM removed the constraint - or was it not possible to submit te order to be pulled until just now when they removed the constrant?

I'm kinda freak'n out cuz the guy i've been dealing with this entire time is gone and the new guys doesn't seem to know whats going on.

When I read the headline, I thought the hole dealership was gone. Honestly , if yours still isnt ordered per say, I would go find another dealership.

I should have quoted. There was a post that must have been deleted that said "I'm assuming your credit has been pre-approved."

I forget to quote sometimes. But it was there, really. I'm not crazy. Not in the OP but after.

Relax... You have a Workbench Order number... Educate him as that is what most of us are doing. Go sit down, get to know the guy and find out who inputs and checks the orders for him. (or talk to his manager) Finding another dealership now would not shorten your wait at this point.

My CGM just got picked up today and I ordered early so many more to come.
