It comes pre-taped but I added some 3M auto tape to it. Sticks fine.

Yes, very close though I'd have to say the EL is a few K cooler (i.e. whiter).

So does the inverter for EL wire have a delay period? What I'm saying is that I might order some red EL wire and run it beside the back glass for a running light or brake light and was wondering if it would instantly light up when the brakes are applied or would that not work.
I know all the LED products are an "instant" light ie. turn signals. I wasn't sure if they were like HID ballasts and had a warming period before they were fully bright. |
